WE PERSONALLY INTERVIEW and vet ALL of OUR TRAVELLING NANNIES.
We have an informal interview with every prospective nanny for our Agency, to ascertain whether they have the kind of experience/personality, adaptability we are looking for. We ask for all original documents (CRB/DBS, Passport, First Aid Certificate, and any certificates related to childcare). We build each Nanny a personalised profile including all of their information, experience and checked references- these are then sent to families as the first introduction to a Nanny.
We only register nannies with My Travelling Nanny who we would be happy to look after our own children.
WE RESPOND QUICKLY WITH POSSIBLE MATCHES
We then help organise an Skype/ Call/Interview/ Informal Meeting with the chosen Nanny/Nannies.
We recommend that the prospective Travelling Nanny goes to meet the family or takes on a paid trial. The family can use the opportunity to see how the Nanny interacts with their children, and if they feel the Holiday Nanny would fit in well. The details of the holiday can be discussed, as well as approximate hours.
BOOKING IS PAINLESS AND SIMPLE
If you are happy - we email the family a short Booking Form for completion. A 50% deposit is then due to confirm the booking, or full payment if the holiday start date is within 28 days.
WE MAKE EVERYTHING AS EASY AS POSSIBLE FOR THE FAMILY
We provide an Agreement for the family and the Travelling Nanny, confirming all the details, and both have a copy for reference. We book the Nanny’s Travel Insurance (and add this minimal cost to the family’s invoice)
Holiday placements can be for any length of time. The approximate number of daily/weekly hours are discussed and agreed between the family and the nanny at interview.
Nannies are entitled to one day off per week Sometimes, two half days are agreed. Holiday Nannies normally help on both travel days as part of their booked hours.
If further hours are required by the family while they are on holiday, this can be agreed with the Travelling Nanny, and payment can be paid directly, at a rate of £9 per hour.
